About

Tunbridge ChurchWelcome to the Tunbridge Church!

Join us for worship every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. at the church in the village on Rte. 110.

The Tunbridge Church seeks to foster an inclusive community of faith that accepts each individual on his or her own unique spiritual journey.  We believe spiritual growth is nurtured by celebration, praise, prayer, and teaching within the historic Christian and biblical tradition.  Each participant in the faith community is encouraged to listen to and care for all other members and to reach out in caring service to the world in which the Church exists. From the Tunbridge Church Bylaws

The Tunbridge Church was established in 1978 when the South Tunbridge Methodist Church, the Tunbridge Congregational Church and the North Tunbridge Baptist Church merged.  All three church buildings were retained by the newly formed congregation and are still used for Sunday morning worship, each at different times of the year.  Services are held in the Congregational building next to the Town Office building from September through June. The location changes to the Methodist building in South Tunbridge in July and the Baptist building in North Tunbridge in August.  Sunday School for children is offered during the service.
